Rodrigo Gallardo

Rodrigo Gallardo is an accomplished international business executive with three decades of experience in marketing, business development, and corporate strategy. A lawyer by training from UIA, he also holds certifications in Business Administration and Top Executive Management from IPADE.

As a co-founder of a boutique family law firm, Rodrigo has built a strong reputation in representing foreign companies in Mexico. His extensive entrepreneurial background spans the food, entertainment, construction, and real estate industries, where he has held key executive roles.

Rodrigo is also a pioneer in the Mexican cannabis industry. As the co-founder of Elements Bioscience and Sativa Group Biosciences, he played a pivotal role in their 2019 merger to form Xebra Brands Ltd., positioning the company as the first mover in Mexico’s cannabis sector. Under his leadership, Xebra secured a historic injunction from the Mexican Supreme Court, granting its subsidiary Desart MX unique cannabis rights, the first company in Mexican history to achieve this milestone. In October 2021, Rodrigo successfully led Xebra Brands Ltd. to go public on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), further solidifying its position in the global cannabis market. In 2023, Xebra made further history by obtaining the first-ever cannabis authorization from COFEPRIS (Mexico’s FDA).

With a proven track record in navigating regulatory landscapes, taking companies public, building brands, and driving market innovation, Rodrigo continues to lead the charge in shaping the future of the cannabis industry in Mexico and beyond.

Omar Garcia Abrego

Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary

Omar Garcia Abrego is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 25 years of progressive international accounting experience within the public and private markets. Mr. Abrego possesses a demonstrated ability to streamline business processes, develop and implement financial controls to improve efficiency and accuracy of the financial information and is proficient in all technical aspects of accounting, financial reporting and regulatory filing compliance for public companies.

Mr. Abrego also has significant experience in business acquisition transactions and held multiple executive and senior positions in various companies such as Liberty Defense Holdings, Altaley Mining Corporation, Auryn Resources, Cayden Resources (which was sold to Agnico Eagle Mining Limited for $205 million in November 2014), Farallon Mining (which was also sold to Nyrstar NV for $409 million in January 2011), Graymont Limited and Deloitte LLP. Mr. Abrego holds a Bachelor of Public Accounting degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPC) in Mexico.

Keith Dolo

Director

Keith brings an impressive résumé and track record to the Board. He is the co-founder of Maverick Brands, a growth accelerator that has successfully built, scaled and exited multiple companies. Before Maverick, Keith founded and served as the CEO and Chairman of Sproutly Canada Inc., a company focused on the advancement of beverage formulations in the Canadian Cannabis Industry. Previous to Sproutly, Keith spent over 13 years at Robert Half International, an S&P 500 and NYSE-listed company where he held the role of VP and other senior positions. Keith advises/acts as director on multiple Canadian companies.

Erick Ponce

Director

Mr. Ponce is a businessman, investor, and founder and Executive Director of ICAN, a company focused on the medical cannabis market in Latin America and one of the few licensed to operate in Mexico. Erick is the president of GPIC (“Grupo Promotor de la Industria del Cannabis”), the leading cannabis business group in Mexico focused on lobbying and market intelligence, and is also the vice president of REDCANN, a network of cannabis associations throughout Latin America.

Erick actively participates in various international industry events to which he is often invited by private and government groups, most recently in countries such as Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the United States, Peru, Uruguay, and Mexico.

David Ross Macias Diaz

Director

Mr Macias is a mexican entrepreneur and business man with a degree in business administration from the Anahuac University, his hard work life style took him in to the energy industry in which he has become one of the biggest fuel distributors in Mexico. Mr Macias plays a fundamental role in this industry.

David also participates in several business related to the hospitality sector, owning many restaurants and a top world wide ranked luxury hotel & spa in San Luis Potosi Mexico. His entreprenural spirit has led him to explore the cannabis industry, focusing in cultivation as he owns a 2,700 acre ranch in SLP in which he intends to cultivate industrial hemp. In 2023 Mr Macias joined Xebra as a large shareholder and in 2024 he became part of Xebra’s board bringing along his wide expertise and networking.
